Yashika Kukreja, a student of the Department of Biotechnology at Panjab University, has brought immense pride to her institution. Yashika has cracked multiple prestigious exams in one go along with securing commendable ranks.
She secured an impressive rank of AIR-70 in the IIT (JAM), Biotechnology exam and earned a place in the integrated PhD (iPhD) program at the prestigious Indian Institute of Science (IISc) Bengaluru, the leading Research Institute of India.
She also achieved AIR-7 in the AIIMS M. Biotechnology entrance examination and AIR-3 in the Graduate Aptitude Test in Biotechnology (GAT-B) exam.
Not only this, In December 2022, Yashika cracked JGEEBILS-2023 and got selected among the top 158 candidates, who were given the opportunity to apply for all Tata Institute of Fundamental Research (TIFR) Institutes and the Indian Institute of Science Education and Research (IISER) Pune.
She also cleared the first round of interviews held by the Department of Biological Sciences (DBS), Mumbai, in March 2023 and secured a position among the top 20 candidates.
The list of her achievements does not end here. In May 2023, she cleared the first round of interviews for TIFR Hyderabad and secured her place among the top 42 candidates.
After various results, she finally decided to opt for IISc Banglore.
Yashika has made everybody proud. Her hardwork, dedication and success serves as an inspiration to her peers, encouraging them to pursue their dreams and excel in their academic journeys.
