Water is one of the basic necessities in human life but lack of water in hostels is making survival of students difficult. PU students are hardly finding water in hostels either they have to go to different blocks or wait in long lines for basic emenities.
The water coolers and taps of various boys hostels not even have a drop of water or work occasionally. Not only hostels but the prime location of Panjab University, that is Stu-C itself doesn't have a single drop of drinking water. Out of three water coolers at stu-c only one is in working condition. Water cooler on the tap floor of DSW building which has DSW and PUCSC officeS itself is in non working condition.
Morover, washing machines at boys hostel 5 are also facing criticism. Students were already facing alot of difficulties but now they are also not working from a long time. Students even complained about this many times, but there no positive response is given by the administration.
PU Pulse always raises the student issues and give them limelight and also urging the authorities to look in to this matter as soon as possible
