Ashish Singha, the groom, is from Shimla, capital city of Himachal Pradesh. The bride named Shivani Thakur is from Kullu. It is being said that the baarat (procession) was about to leave for Bhuntar village in kullu (the bride's hometown) on Monday , but due to heavy rainfall and weather conditions, this couple were not able to manage their planned festivities .
As a result of which, the groom and bride went for a virtual wedding . Rakesh Singha , Groom's father, took the final call.
