In a shocking situation, the UGC Net exams, which were conducted by the NTA on Tuesday have been cancelled, after doubts were raised about the integrity of the exams being compromised.
The exams, which were conducted through pen and paper, with the use of OMR sheets, were held in two different shifts across multiple cities.
The questions of the exam being compromised were raised, when multiple inputs were put up by the Indian Cyber Crime Coordination Centre, which lead to suggestions of multiple possible compromises in the exam
With the Ministry of Education taking prompt actions, a new examination is to be scheduled, with CBI reffered to investigate into the controversy
