Since Elon Musk acquired control of Twitter, thousands of employees have been laid off and nearly every single company policy has been altered. There are several alternatives to Twitter available out there and now two former Twitter employees who were laid off during mass lay off in November are building another platform and they are calling it “Spill”.
They continued by saying that the Spill app would cater to "cultural drivers" and act as a refuge for Black Twitter artists. The app is meant to be "a real-time discussion platform that puts culture first," according to the platform's two developers. The platform will debut in January, said the company's creators, Alphonzo Phonz Terrell and DeVaris Brown.
On the other hand, Musk is developing what he refers to as "Twitter 2.0" alongside the current staff.
