In a recent shocking incident from Begusarai Bihar, a group of thieves stole a Railway Engine by digging a secret tunnel.
A diesel engine was sent for repair at the Garhara yard from where the thieves slowly started stealing pieces of the engine in sacks. Part by part the entire engine was stolen, an FIR was also registered last week at the Barauni police station after which this mischief came into the limelight.
After the FIR, 3 men were arrested who are also known to previously unbolt bridges and steal their parts. On further Investigation, it was found that the gang dug a tunnel through which the engine's parts were taken. The Police recovered 13 sacks containing equipment including the engine pieces, wheels and heavy iron parts and other locomotive parts at Prabhat Nagar area of Muzaffarpur.
The arrested men talked about the owner of a scrap godown during the interrogation. The police are further investigating the case and looking for the mentioned owner too.
