Terror shakes up J&K's Rajouri; civilians including Hindus and others killed and injured

Rajouri district in Jammu and Kashmir was attacked by terrorists two days in a row. This is the second terror attack in the village less than 12 hours after four civilians were killed and six were injured in a suspected terror attack last evening.

The attack is said to be targeted towards the Hindu Community where the terrorists checked the IDs of the victims and opened fire on them.

In the village of Rajouri in Jammu's Dhangri, an IED exploded, injuring five people and killing a child. The explosion occurred yesterday evening at the location where the earlier suspected terrorist attack took lives of four people.

Later in the day, a senior police officer stated that the incident was a terror attack; however, additional director general of police (ADGP) Mukesh Singh stated that this was still pending verification.

According to the authorities, a search operation is underway to locate all of the most terrifying individuals who fled the scene of the attack nearby.
