Tricity is all set to witness the railing of a special train that will deport the devotees from Chandigarh to Ayodhya, commencing on July 5, 2024. Tagged as "Bharat Gaurav Special Tourist Trains," the decision was implemented by the renowned Indian organisation IRCTC.
The train compartments will bear 2nd AC coaches, with a further division into 2 categories. In comfort or luxury class, having 2 or 3 passengers will be charged at 22,240 rupees and for children aged 5–11 charges will be 20,015 rupees.Standard reservations, on the other hand, with 2–3 passengers will be charged in the form of 18,520 and 16,670 rupees, respectively.
Regional manager Sukhwinder Singh informed about the date and duration of the journey: 8 days and 7 nights at Max along with devotional tourism in 5 places. The train journey, according to the manager, will be via Chandigarh from Jalandhar, Ludhiana, and other Punjab centric areas. Many services will also be offered for the ease of passengers, starting from query resolutions and booking at the IRCTC office as well as regional centres to the provision of a security guard in each coach.
