The flying kiss, Rahul Gandhi, Smriti Irani and parliament chemistry.
Congress MP, Rahul Gandhi has been accused by, Union Minister, Smriti Irani of blowing a flying kiss after his speech while leaving the parliament. It happened during the No Confidence debate in Lok Sabha on Wednesday.
The statement given by Smriti Irani on Rahul Gandhi," Only a misogynist man can blow a flying kiss to parliament that seats women MPs." The Parliament, the house of people, where laws are made to ensure the safety of women, but in that very house, such a task has been done by Rahul Gandhi.
A congress leader further justified that it was not directed towards any particular minister or MP and not at all towards Smriti irani. Such a limitless action has never been seen in the Parliament of this country. The country has seen that family’s culture via this Parliament. A group of female BJP Lok Sabha members formally registered a complaint with the house's speaker.
The Congress, on the other hand, denied the accusations of the BJP and stated that there were male MPs sitting in front of him when Gandhi made the gesture.
This act has raised questions on the code of conduct of the Parliament as well.
