Yesterday, members of the student party SATH met the DSW Jagtar Singh and the associate DSW to discuss issues related to hygiene and repair of Student Centre.
The students put forward the request for the repair of the heritage building of Student Centre. The members shed light on the condition of the building; the damage to it and the way the building is losing its aesthetic value.
Along with this, the cleanliness of the centre was discussed. The members put forward the hygiene conditions, emphasizing that the dustbins are not cleaned for a long duration of time, the water coolers have foul surroundings, making it a source of diseases.
The Associate Director visited the sites with the party members, observing the problems first-hand. Taking into account the weight both the repair of the heritage building and the hygiene at the Student Centre held, the DSW assured the students that appropriate measures would be taken regarding both the issues.
The party appealed for student cooperation as well, requesting to opt appropriate measures to help keep the Centre clean.
