Luna 25 crash-lands on the moon, now all eyes are on Chandrayaan-3
In a statement given today, Russia's space agency Roscosmos has confirmed that its first lunar mission in 47 yrs has crash landed on the moon, communication with the spacecraft was interrupted at 14:57 moscow time.
Luna-25 was launched on August 10. It entered into lunar orbit on aug 16.
Roscosmos had said on Saturday, that while transferring the spacecraft into the pre - landing orbit the automatic station encountered an emergency situation due to which the manoeuvre could not be performed with the specified parameter
