Roads of Shimla and Manali are choked as a huge crowd of people are headed to celebrate New Year

Like every year roads of famous hill stations like Shimla-Manali witness major traffic congestion. People are waiting in long queues to reach their destination.

According to the travellers who are stuck in traffic, their vehicles are moving in the tortoise's speed and they won't be able to reach their destination on time.

Due to long waiting lines on the roads people are also seen celebrating new year’s eve by dancing and singing on the roads.

The hoteliers have urged tourists to book their hotel rooms in advance to avoid last-minute availability problems as thousands of tourists from different states have made a beeline for New Year celebrations.
