Rajkaran Baidwan Nomination Cancelled after Objection, Earlier Got Clearance from Department

Rajkaran Baidwan's bid for the University Presidential seat took a turbulent turn after objection raised by opposition.

Votan PU Diyan took new turn now as nomination of Rajkaran Baidwan, the most prominent leader from PUSU has been cancelled. Earlier, he was suspended from NSUI and joined PUSU recently as a Presidential Candidate from the party.

He recently won the secretary seat from Youth Congress.

Everything was going smoothly for Baidwan as he got clearance from the Anthropology Department in the nominations and things turned against him when the opposition party put an objection against him against his date of birth.

DSW in an hour committee meeting had decided this. PUSU alleged that CYSS orchestrated this attack due to Baidwan's popularity and higher votes, putting pressure on the authorities in an attempt to favor CYSS. They also alleged them that they got maximum benefit as they have the candidate from same department.
