Lok Sabha elections of Jalandhar successfully ended yesterday. Results are to be announced on 13th of May . Punjab state currently have AAP government. Some time ago Punjab Government sent it's 7MPs to the Rajya Sabha. Out of these 7 , three associated to Jalandhar including cricketer Harbhajan Singh , Chancellor of Lovely Professional University Ashok Mittal and Environmental expert Balbir Singh Sinchewal .
From joining Sushil Rinku's AAP party to the campaigning for election and voting both Balbir Singh and Ashok Mittal were seen but Harbhajan Singh was nowhere to be seen . And not only that Harbhajan Singh didn't even cast the vote . Even his mother didn't came to cast her vote . Its being said that the cricketer is very much indulged in making money in IPL and has nothing to do with AAP or Jalandhar or development of the state .
It's worth noting that to cast vote voters come even from abroad but Harbhajan Singh had no interest in the same . Many AAP leader were contacted by the media for the same , on the condition of anonymity those leaders were also seen cursing the cricketer and were not able to provide any satisfactory response.
In regard to the same active BJP youth leader of the ward , Arjun Trehan , expressed his suspicion that maybe Harbhajan Singh has made voter card only for paper proof just like Amritpal Singh . He mentioned that maybe the cricketer don't believe in the must vote policy of Kejriwal but has become the MP by the use of money power. Cricketer is also holding a responsible position in Punjab Police. Its being said that he should resign from both Punjab Police and Rajya Sabha and let someone else to take the position who can pay attention and show interest.
