PU to hold elections after a gap of two long years in the last week of September

As we know Dean Student Welfare Association (DSW) holds the responsibility for conducting elections in university every year and finally after the long wait of students, DSW has sent the dates of elections for the approval to higher authorities. It is expected that the elections may be held on 23rd or 30th September. Earlier, elections were held in the first week of September. But after this, it can be concluded that along with various student parties, the officials have started preparing for the elections too. As soon as approval of dates for elections is done, final dates will be announced.

University is planning to conduct the elections after completion of admission of first year students. However, the student parties have to work from scratch this year because of the long gap in the elections. Affiliated colleges of PU will also hold elections during the dates decided.

Student parties have started making student teams and collecting problems faced by the students including issues related to hostel mess, campus wifi, security inside the campus among the others.

So tighten your seat belts as the famous festival of PU begins.
