PU CET (PG) Test is all set to conduct on 30th & 31st of this July but the environment got tensed when the students found out the date for Punjab B.Ed. Test is the same. Both exams have been scheduled for the 31st July.
It has put students under tremendous stress, as it's a matter of their careers. How is it possible for them to sit for both exams?
"I have my PUCET PG exam on 31st morning in Chandigarh and then again I have an exam in the evening slot too. And in the mean time I have Punjab B.Ed. state test at 10.30 in Jalandhar", told a student of graduation highlighting the issue.
Punjab Bachelor in Education Joint Common Entrance Test (Punjab B. Ed Joint CET) is a state level education entrance exam conducted by Guru Nanak Dev University, Amritsar. It's basically needed for get admission into B. Ed programs. Colleges affiliated to PU, Chandigarh, GNDU, Amritsar, PUP, Patiala consider the entrance exam as the criteria for admissions.
The admit cards cum roll number slips are out for those who registered before or on 20th July. Online registration is available from 21st to 26th July with late fees.
PU - CET (PG) is being held on 30th and 31st July which is a pathway for getting into various masters/post graduate courses of engineering, arts, law, commerce, sciences, etc. It's being conducted by Panjab University, Chandigarh. It is a university level exam.
PU Pulse urges the responsible authorities to look into this matter as students have worked hard for the admissions.
