With the entire world having eyes on Qatar for the FIFA World Cup final, PM Narendra Modi also joined this football fever by assuring that India will also organise an event like FIFA World Cup and Indians will cheer their team soon.
Yesterday on 18th December in a public rally in Tripura Prime Minister assured of organizing FIFA World Cup in India and will cheer for the tricolour, he said.
Despite football being a long standing popular game in India, blue tigers have never played a World Cup internationally.
