Indian Female Archers create history in Berlin by defeating Mexico in the World Archery Championship finals by 235-229.
Adding feathers to the cap, Parneet Kaur from Mansa district of Punjab, studying at Punjabi University, Patiala, became the World Champion after showcasing her extraordinary skills.

It was for the first time that the Indian female compound team was able to win the gold medal for itself in the World archery championship. Parneet Kaur was able to achieve this success, due to the guidance and support of her coach, Surinder Randhawa, Archery coach, Punjabi University, Patiala.
