It may seem that many research scholars are staying in hostels on extension purposes and many of the are staying illegally. Even some wardens also issued notices in the past to students to make them sure their stay is legal but many students took that for granted.
Now, DSW issued a notice to all the wardens. Letter

Welfare (DSW), mentioning the deadline and the
requirements for the renewal of hostel admissions for
research sc
The deadline for the procedure has been set to be September 19, 2022 with the following requirements along with the following requirements:
- Ph.D. registration letter is mandatory for renewal of
hostel accommodation.
-Satisfactory completion of course work letter duly forwarded by the Chairperson of the respective Department after 1-1/2 years period.
-Submission of six months progress report of the Ph.D. students duly signed by the Chairperson.
