National Service Scheme (NSS) unit of Panjab University celebrated 53rd NSS Foundation Day at Physics Auditorium, Panjab University, Chandigarh today.
The event was graced by the presence of NSS Programme Officers Dr. Richa, Dr. Vivek, Prof. Naveen, Dr. Shankar Sehgal and NSS IG Awardee Mr. Sandeep.
Volunteers performed various dance forms showing cultures of different states of the country.
Mr. Sandeep (NSS IG Awardee) educated the audience about how NSS gives that platform to volunteers due to which they were able to represent the unit at Kartavya path and even went abroad. Also, volunteers were grateful for the opportunities NSS has given them.
NSS gives a sense of pride and honour in itself to be NSS Volunteer and serve the society with good deeds.
