Today, Kanhaiya Kumar, a social activist and congress party member since 2021, has been appointed as the new National NSUI (National Students' Union of India) Incharge.
He is known for his passionate oratory skill and blazing speeches, Kumar gained prominence during his tenure as the President of JNU Students' Union and President of All India Students Federation(AISF). He has been actively involved in advocating for social justice, equality, and democratic rights.
Congress General Secretary K C Venugopal signed a letter which stated, “Honourable Congress President (Mallikarjun Kharge) has appointed Shri Kanhaiya Kumar as AICC in-charge of National Students Union of India (NSUI), with immediate effect."
Neeraj Kundar is the NSUI national President. Although, NSUI's polticial career has seen ups and down in the history of Panjab University. Besides campus, not winning in campus is always a major question for NSUI. But with the new leadership now, lets see what NSUI brings to the table in this year elections.
