Indian National Congress Suspends MLA Sandeep Jakhar for Alleged Anti-Party Activities
The Disciplinary Action Committee of the All India Congress Committee (AICC) has immediately suspended Sandeep Jakhar on alleged anti party activities.
This suspension came into effect after Amrinder Singh Raja Warring filed a complaint and Punjab Congress announced on X (Twitter).
He was accused of participating in anti party propaganda including not attending Bharat Jodo Yatra and common accommodation he lives at had the BJP flag.
Warring had once been involved in war of words and asked Jakhar to resign from the Congress and get a fresh mandate accusing him that if he was that confident about their support in Abohar. He had later challenged Warring to throw him out of the outfit by issuing him a notice.
