A Hyderabad-based nursing student claims that she lost Rs 16 lakh to cybercriminals while attempting to sell her kidney in order to recoup the Rs 2 lakh that she had taken out of her father's bank account.
Apparently, some miscreants promised the girl Rs 3 crore when she sought to sell her kidney. She was forced to deposit Rs 16 lakh, though, for taxes and charges associated with police verification. According to the girl's police complaint, when she attempted to sell her kidney, she encountered a man named Praveen Raj on social media. He assured her that she would receive a 50% advance payment prior to the operation and the entire amount following it.
In response to the girl's father's allegation, after withdrawal of 16 lakh rupees in November, police located her at a friend's home in Jaggayyapeta, Andhra Pradesh's NTR district, after she fled from her hostel .
