Former MP, Chandigarh, Satya Pal Jain writes letter to Home Minister, Amit Shah to implement the Central pay scale.

Chandigarh ex- MP Satya Pal Jain requested home minister Amit Shah to implement central pay scale for Chandigarh administration employees. He mentioned in the letter, that on 27 March last year, Amit Shah declared that the central salary scale will be implemented in Chandigarh. Even though, it was opposed by the Punjab Government then, the notification of this decision was issued and was celebrated by the Chandigarh employees.

However, he added that even after 1 year, no change has been observed and various employee unions have also written letters regarding this to the central government. Jain talked about how this decision would benefit several employees and mentioned that he expects a quick response. He expects that the guidelines will soon be issued by the honorable Home Minister.
