Five more gold medals to India's tally


Day 10th of Commonwealth Games again panned out with success for India won as Nikhat Zareen (Boxing), Nitu Ghanghas (Boxing), Amit Panghal (Boxing) and Eldhose paul (Men's Triple Jump) bagged gold medals.


Another gold was added to India's tally as mixed duo of Sharath Kamal and Sreeja Akula won it in Table Tennis, defeating Javen Choong and Karen Lynn of Malaysia


In men's doubles TT finals, Achanta Sharath Kamal and Sathiyan Gnanasekaran won silver after losing 2-3 to England. Triple Jumper Abdulla Aboobacker bagged silver, just missing the mark by 0.01cm to India's Eldhose Paul.


In women's cricket, Indian Team secured silver medal


after getting defeated by Australia in the finals for gold.


Meanwhile, Annu Rani and Sandeep Kumar bagged bronze medals for India in the women's javelin throw and men's 10km race walk, respectively. Kidambi Srikanth finished with a bronze medal in men's singles while women's duo Treesa Jolly and Gayatri Gopichand won bronze in women's doubles semi-final. In Squash, Saurav Ghosal and Dipika Pallikal won bronze in mixed doubles.


India now stands at 5th in CWG 2022 medals tally, with 18 gold, 15 silver and 22 bronze medals.
