Election campaign turning U-turn in PU as girls raises question if their hostel is of boys or girls?

Although the Panjab University Elections date is not finalized yet, the campaign by the parties is at its peak. Student and political parties didn't leave any step to make their face in the students. But in between that, many parties are crossing the lines which are making a scary environment for most of the girls.

It has been reported by many girls students that there are number of boys who always stand in front of their hostels in the evening time to night for election campaigning especially in front of Girls Hostel-3, 4, 8, 9 and 10. A girl student even complained that when my parents visited yesterday, they were shocked to see whether their girl is living in a boys hostel or in a girls hostel. Even a number of girls complain that a number of boys are demanding their contact number without any use just for the sake of votes. They are least interested in politics.

Not only this, some girls complain that many political parties are now forcing them to do campaigning for them and sit in their protest just because they help them in getting their hostels. Similar cases reported from Girls Hostel 4, where girls reported that many of us can't even go outside or inside as a no. of boys sitting in front of our entrance. We don't know about the issue but if we can't live openly then there is no need for such student welfare.
