PU's Assistant Professor, Dr. Ranjana Bhandari won the Trademark Attorney Exam and got second position in the country.
Dr. Ranjana Bhandari, an assistant professor at Punjab University's University Institute of Pharmaceutical Sciences, has raised her banner all across the nation. She received 193 out of 250, the second-highest score in the nation, for passing the Trademark Attorney Exam-2024. This year, only 30.2% of students passed. The Ministry of Commerce and Industry's Office of the Controller General of Patents, Designs, and TradeMarks (DPIIT, Government of India) administers this test.
Papers 1 and 2 as well as the final interview make up the test process. She founded a start-up business that is being supported by PU's BioNest and passed the Patent Attorney exam last year. In addition, she founded a start-up business that is being supported by PU's BioNest. It is significantly contributing to the innovation-based IP generation process.
