Fake Sticker Vehicles Busted By PU Security and Chandigarh police
PU Security and Chandigarh Police have demonstrated their vigilance by taking swift action against more than 50 vehicles flaunting fake stickers bearing PU department names.
Commendable efforts came to light during security check conducted amidst the ongoing elections atmosphere.
The alertness of the security personnel led to the detection of these fake stickers, which could have been misused to gain unauthorized access and may have led to disturbing circumstances.
Chief Security Officer Vikram Singh has issued a stern notice regarding the incident. Notice states, "Any vehicle / person found indulging in this forgery and tress passing shall be dealt with strictly as per law. Henceforth, any vehicle caught with forged sticker shall be handed over to the Police and no entry will be allowed from Panjab University Gates".
It has been notice that a number of fake stickers have been printed by Polticial parties for entrance of the vehicles of outsiders.
