Today, a flight to Singapore from Sri Guru Ram Dass Jee International airport, Amritsar, airplane unexpectedly took off 5 hours earlier than the scheduled time. This caused the passengers major inconvenience as the plane left behind almost 35 people.
When these people discovered the rescheduled flight timings, they caused havoc in the airport which was a huge inconvenience for the people present there.
The airline defended this early take-off by mentioning that an email had been sent to all the passengers about the apparent change in the schedule. People who checked their emails were on time and thus, the plane took off with very few passengers.
A passenger from Chandigarh, Balwinder Singh claimed that he was informed that the flight was scheduled to take off at 7:55 PM and no changes were communicated.
