Chandigarh College of Engineering and Technology is one of the most reputed engineering colleges that is affiliated with Panjab University, but it is observed that the college authorities are playing monoply which is causing a lot of problems for the students.
College authorities made a rule that no student can join training offline if there is a backlog in the previous semester and that students have to attend classes regularly. Earlier, there were some cases in which almost 50% of the students in a single class became victims of mass reappear. PU Pulse has had complaints from a lot of students a number of times.
Not just this, ever since the lockdown, the college's canteen is closed and there is no access to any kind of tuckshop or a place that aids in printing documents on the entire campus. Engineering academia is totally dependent on such shops.
Panjab University itself is not showing any interest in the college and as a result, the college is playing its full monoply and making self-forced rules.
PU Pulse urges the concerned authorities to look into this matter at the earliest
