Akhil Bharatiya Vidyarthi Parishad has declared the names of its candidates for the upcoming student council elections.
This time ABVP will contest for two posts: President and General Secretary. Rakesh Deshwal will contest for the Presidential post & Avinash Yadav for the post of General Secretary.
Presidential candidate Rakesh Deshwal has completed his education till LLB from Panjab University. Presently he is pursuing LLM in UILS department of Panjab University. General Secretary Candidate Avinash Yadav has completed his education from UIET department of Panjab University up to B.Tech & is pursuing M.Tech from UIET department now.
For many years ABVP has been contesting for a single post. But this time they've announced their candidates for 2 posts.
This shift in ABVP's strategy is intriguing and it will be exciting to witness how it changes the political scenario of the university.
